    • Treatment of HIV-associated lipodystrophy (to reduce visceral adipose tissue in patients with HIV on antiretroviral therapy).

Ipamorelin

  • Type: Growth hormone secretagogue (GHS), a selective ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) agonist.
  • Mechanism: Mimics ghrelin, stimulating GH release from the pituitary without significantly affecting cortisol or prolactin (unlike some other GHS like GHRP-6)
  • Effects:
    • Promotes GH release and subsequent IGF-1 rise.

Sremorlin
